先前学习评估 is a process that evaluates knowledge and learning gained outside the classroom. 包括就业, 认证, 军事训练/服务, 公民的活动, 以及志愿服务. Students are guided through this process during their first semester in the ADP 301 Adult Degree Practice & 理论课程.

Chris Hemphill - Adult Degree Program Success Story

A 2020 graduate of the Adult Degree Program, Chris Hemphill has over 20 years of professional Information Technology experience with over 15 years focused on Department of Defense. He joined PeopleTec in 2009 as a network administrator. In 2015, Chris was promoted to IT Manager and in 2019 was promoted to Director of IT. Chris oversees corporate IT and manages a team of IT professionals. 除了他的B.S. in Management of Technology from 雅典州立大学, Chris holds multiple industry 认证.

Allison Young Chambers - Adult Degree Program Success Story

Allison Young Chambers graduated Summa Cum Laude in Spring 2019 with a degree in Management of Technology with a minor in Marketing. The Adult Degree Program was able to assist Allison in completing her degree requirements, as she submitted a portfolio and received credit for 培训 and 认证 she had completed over the past 12 years. She currently serves as Senior Project Coordinator with Manufacturing Technical Solutions, supporting NASA-Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville.
